Table of Contents
Tabinta ("Tab in Textarea")
Tabinta lets you insert tab characters in <textarea>
elements. The name itself is a shorthand for “Tab in Textarea”.
If installed and active, pressing the tabulator key ↹ inserts a tabulator character instead of going to the next form field. Additionally, you can quickly (de)activate Tabinta via an additional contextual menu item (→right click on the target textarea).
Installation
Simply use the default installation method. See the https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/3955/ to get the .xpi
.
Troubleshooting
Tabinta inserts 4 spaces instead of 1 tab
This happens from time to time. To solve the problem, re-assign the Tabinta key. Go to the plugin settings, a dialogue called “Assign tabinta key” opens. Press the you want to use and click OK. Your problem should be gone.
