XMind
XMind is a powerful, cross-platform pen Source mind mapping program.

Installation
Ubuntu
10.04 Lucid and above
Beause XMind is based on Eclipse, you need a functional Java Runtime Environment (JRE) before you can use it.
Simply download and the .deb package for Ubuntu and install it as usual (e.g. via double click or by using dpkg -i
).
After installation, you can start the program by clicking “Applications→Office→XMind”.
Windows
XP and above
Beause XMind is based on Eclipse, you need a functional Java Runtime Environment (JRE) before you can use it.
Simply download the Windows installer and execute it with administrator privileges. Or use portable packages (also provided at the download page) if you want to run XMind without installation.
