KeePassX

KeePassX is a powerful password and information manager. You can store and manage your passwords, online credentials and notes with it. It helps you never forget a password or login again and enables you to use very complicated, secure and unique passwords for every service you are using.

KeePassX protects all your sensitive and confidential data, the complete database files are always encrypted either with AES or Twofish using a 256 bit key. Therefore the saved information can be considered as safe.

KeePassX databases are compatible with the “KeePass 1.x Password Safe” for Windows. Work on KeePassX 2.x is in progress (this will bring “KeePass 2.x Password Safe” for Windows database compatibility and online synchronisation).
