IETester
IETester is a web development tool which allows you to test your websites with the rendering and JavaScript engines of IE 5.5 till IE9.
There are some limitations you should be aware of when debugging:
- Focus is not working properly
- Java applets are not working
- Flash is not working on IE6 instance in user mode : A solution is to launch IETester as admin user and Flash will work.
- CSS Filters are not working correctly in user mode : A solution is to launch IETester as admin user and CSS Filters will work.
- The Previous/Next buttons are not working properly
Installation
Windows
XP and above
If you are running Windows XP, make sure you got MSIE 7 or above before using IETester! Windows XP with IE6 got some problems, including non-working IE8 instances.
Simply download the Windows installer in your preferred and execute it with administrator privileges.
